Windows 10: Thumbnails frequently fail to refresh

    Thumbnails frequently fail to refresh


    Win 10 File Explorer thumbnails frequently do not refresh after changes such as cropping in an image editor. Despite much googling I've still not found a reliable fix.

    For example, Falcon-12 has an AR of 16:9, despite itswide thumb, which looks identical to that of the 2:1 alongside it.

    App. "Gallery" failed on E72?

    any idea if the image gallery app uses some sort of thumbnail cache file? maybe there could be some way of "refreshing" the thumbnail cache fail so as to create new correct thumbnails?

    Can't delete photos Thumbnails frequently fail to refresh :(

    It's broken thumbnails, not photos. Photos are probably already deleted but for some odd reason thumbnails didn't refresh properly..
