    How do I get microsoft to recognize that Thunderbird mail client is ok?Since July 15, 2022, I get warnings of severe threats that are associated with running my Thunderbird mail client. This happens 3 or 4 times a week. Typically, I start my computer in the morning no virus threat detected, and then start Thunderbird about 30 minutes later. By looking at "protection history," I found this info:file: C:\Users\johnh\AppData\Roaming\Thunderbird\Profiles\j0izrn2l.default\ImapMail\mail.ecentral.com\INBOX-1The actions that I am allowed are to "restore" or "remove" this file. I don't know if I

    Thunderbird and Windows 10

    Hi,

    To assist you with your concern, perform the following troubleshooting steps:

    • Temporary disable software that could be blocking Thunderbird's functionality. (e.g. Antivirus software)
    • If the issue still persists, perform a clean boot to identify what software is hindering Thunderbird. Click on this

    Threats identified by Windows Defender not removed

    Hi, my OS is Windows 10 Pro 64bit Version 2004 Build 19041.450. After performing a full scan of my SSD, Windows Defender identified a number of threats such as APP:CDisplayEx_BundleInstaller, PUA:Win32/Vtools, PUA:Win32/InstallCore, PUA:Win32/SystemChecker, PUA:Win32/PiriformBundler. I will appreciate your comments or suggestions for removal them. Many thanks.
