Hey folks, I recently bought a Mini PC from a pretty obscure brand called Chatreey. The only identifying model / part numbers associated with the motherboard are Chatreey BQM5 which if it matters, is running BIOS version American Megatrends International, LLC. B009_L0 07/06/2023. I'm running Windows 11 Pro version 10.0.22621 on a 4TB PCIe 4 m.2 SSD with 32GB DDR4 and the Intel i9-12900H. I did a fresh install on the SSD I purchased separately, and have managed to get everything working correctly except the Thunderbolt 4 port. Windows recognises that the 'USB4' port is there, but the port its

Win. 11 Thunderbolt 4 Hub not detected. FIX ?

I have the same problem with a 2022 Zephyrus M16 and a Plugable thunderbolt 4/usb 4 hub.

My laptop works fine with thunderbolt3 devices (seems to be built-in to the usb4 driver).

But when i go into the thunderbolt control app, the about page shows blank for the thunderbolt driver.

installing the latest intel thunderbolt driver fails with an error code that google implies means the driver is already installed (but seems to be referring to the usb4 driver).

yet the usb4/thunderbolt 4 hub acts like its not being approved/activated.

no devices plugged into it are recognized or even completely powered (thunderbolt ssd just blinks)

Intel introduces Thunderbolt 4 universal cable connectivity

What’s New: Today, Intel revealed new details about Thunderbolt™ 4, the next generation of its universal cable connectivity solution, delivering increased minimum performance requirements, expanded capabilities and USB4 specification compliance. For the first time, Thunderbolt 4 will offer docks with up to four Thunderbolt ports and universal cables up to 2 meters in length. Double the minimum video and data requirements of Thunderbolt 3.

Video: Support for two 4K displays or one 8K display.

PC charging on at least one computer port2.
