Windows 10: Thunderbolt port properties says Device PCI requires further installation

Do I need to update the driver for the thunderbolt Controller -15D9?BACKGROUND:My laptop hp 360 spectre has a thunderbolt port with the lightning bolt above it.I bought a hub: HieArcool to allow me to connect 2 additional monitors via the hubs dual HDMI ports while plugged into the Thunderbolt port on my laptop. The dual monitors worked for a year and then stopped working. I thought maybe the Hiearcool hub was malfunctioning but the new one did not work either.So I found the Thunderbolt port in the device manager - Thunderbolt TM Controller-15D9. On the events tab it says 1/14/2021 10:42

Thunderbolt 3 USB Devices, Device Mgr and Thunderbolt Drivers

One topic that may be helpful to thunderbolt 3 users on Win 10. For various reasons you can have thunderbolt 3 usb - c port hardware installed on your win 10 box and may not see thunderbolt 3 drivers present in the device mgr. One reason for this is
the thunderbolt drivers are not installed. If the hardware is recognized by the bios and the thunderbolt driver is not installed you should see a device called the base system device. Installing the correct thunderbolt driver will then replace the base system
device with the thunderbolt controller device.

 

Viewing Thunderbolt ports in Device Manager (Windows 10)

Usually, when you install Windows 10 on a PC, the drivers are automatically installed through Windows Updates. The Thunderbolt port can be found under System Devices in Device Manager. You may want to check by connecting a device to the Thunderbolt
port and see if you are able to use the Device.

PCI Serial Port not installed Code 28

I have a refurbished HP Compaq 6000 Pro SFF 32-bit desktop.
The original OS was Windows 7 Pro, I upgraded to Windows 10 Pro in Feb 2016.
In June I upgraded the original ST3160318AS 160GB HDD with a Crucial MX200 250GB SSD
On Wed July 20, did a clean install per

and that went well.
NOTE: The only reason I did the clean install is because I wanted to see how to do that.

However now there is an issue with the PCI Serial Port in Device Manager which wasn’t there before the clean install. I would like to know

--- Is there a PCI Serial Port driver for my system?
