    TI PCM2902 USB CODEC no longer shows. Instead it shows as Line in.


    I got this knock off guitar usb audio interface which was working just fine and it showed up as TI PCM2902 USB CODEC. It was a little slow so i tried updating the driver from internet. I searched for the exact name + driver download. After installing the new driver in Sound devices the output worked just fine but the input was not working and under the input properties in the levels tab there was nothing. So I uninstalled the driver and restarted my pc and now it no longer shows up as TI PCM2902 USB AUDIO CODEC and instead shows up as just line in. And it no longer works. Please help me I'm no

    USB Audio Codecs not working

    the bars next to line 2-usb audio codec do not move. under device properties on recording tab it shows Line 2- usb audio codec, then underneath that it shows (generic usb audio) QUESTION I'm wondering, should I be using the USB PnP Audio Device instead of the Line 2- USB audio Codec? tried that and it didn't work.

    Details Pane not showing codec info

    Hi,

    please see my screenshot, my details pane is not showing any codec information.

    I had to reinstall after a windows 10 update killed my computer (update loop bsod - I can't believe updates are stilling crashing computers).

    before the details pane use to show codec info like:
    • Video Codec, example VC-1, AVC
    • Audio Codec, example DTS, TrueHD

    how do I get it to show?

    GPU-Z what command line parameter ?

    Suggestion: /? (-?) and /help (-help) command-line arguments to show a list of all possible arguments in a small window. *Smile TI PCM2902 USB CODEC no longer shows. Instead it shows as Line in. :)
