  1. Time limit on games done per app is not viable solution. We need to be able to setup time...

As in title the way time limits work is useless. If I will give my child 1hr per game then if he or she has 10 games they have ability to play for 10hrs. I do not want give them 6 min per game either. I want them to be able to play whatever they choose for 1hr. And then I want them to have more time for homework, research etc. It seems this question was asked before, but responding is locked. Can Microsoft please look into that? The best approach would be to allow grouping of apps and websites as some games are played within web browser and set limits per group.Games, Education, Research etc.

    :)

  2. Family Safety to limit game time on WP8

    Hi,

just managed to setup family safety for the WP8 of my 10 year old. Maybe I am doing some thing wrong, but I fail to see how I can limit the game time he can play on the device per day.

Thing is, he needs a phone to be reachable and do emergency calls. But he also needs to be prevented from playing games all the time. On Windows8 I can limit the computer time per day and allow/disallow apps / games. But on WindowsPhone8 it seems there are
only webfilters to configure and nothing else.

Has any one found a list of configurable parental controls for WindowsPhone8? That would help me determine if it is my bad or a missing feature by Microsoft.

    Thx
