Windows 10: Time recorded for completion of 'EVENT" games

I trust Microsoft is monitoring this Community site.


My question/issue is with the computation of recorded time for completed games. It occurs too frequently where the game is successfully completed but the server is having some issue in recording the game results. The symptom is a spinning arrow with the message 'LOADING. Once the connection is confirmed, the game results are displayed. For example, Game time: 2:40. Total time: 3:36. The game was successfully completed at the earlier time but the result for the EVENT is recorded at the longer time.


Since the application knows when the game was completed, can Microsoft advise why a player is penalized by a technical issue beyond his/her control?

Can’t hear audio while recording games or videos

We will need some more information to help you with the appropriate troubleshooting steps. Please reply with the following details:

• How are you recording the games or videos?
  
• When you say, “I can't hear anything” you are unable to get the in-game audio or your voice?
  
• What is the make and model of the computer?
  
• Which build version of Windows 10 is installed on the computer? To check type:
  winver in the search bar on the Taskbar and hit
  Enter.
  

If you are using Game bar to record the games or videos, I suggest you to refer the steps mentioned below:

1. Press Windows key + I to open
   Settings.
   
2. Click on Gaming.
   
3. Click on Capture on the left pane.
   
4. Clear the check box for Record gaming audio only.
   
5. Follow the same steps for Broadcasting.

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.

NEEDED: A PAUSE button or feature on Microsoft Solitaire timed EVENTS games

Hi, Solitaire game fans -

I am frustrated that I cannot press a pause button, when needed, to step away from an EVENT without the minutes I am away from the game being added to my total play time. I feel this does not give an accurate challenge time, if it includes my time away
from my computer. Does anyone else feel the same?

I THINK GAME DEVELOPERS NEED TO INCORPORATE A PAUSE BUTTON ON EVENT CHALLENGE GAMES. I HOPE THIS SUGGESTION IS SEEN BY A GAME DEVELOPER WHO CAN MAKE THIS HAPPEN.
