Windows 10: Time zone keeps switching from Eastern to Central

My laptop keeps switching from Eastern Time Zone to Central Time Zone although we are in Eastern Time Zone.Also, if I change the time zone to Eastern and change it back to automatic, it reverts back to the wrong time zone.Restarted my laptop and nothing is resolved.

Hi, I recently realized that my computer clock was one hour behind, when I checked the time settings the time zone was central time which is not my time zone but when I changed it to eastern the settings automatically switch back to the central time zone.
How can I fix this?

I recently moved from the East coast to Houston (from the Eastern Time Zone to the Central Time Zone). I am unable to get my desktop running Windows 11 to consistently switch and remain on the central time zone. I am able to temporarily set the time zone to central either by setting this manually or by turning off then turning back on the "Set time zone automatically" setting. However, no matter whether I set the time zone manually or automatically, within a matter of hours, the computer reverts back to the Eastern Time Zone. Any advice as to how to fix this?
