Windows 10: Time Zone Prompt for Win10

Hi everyone,

I know on some posts, I been needing to set the local Time Zone during the installation. That was perfect using the Windows System Image Manager. Tested it and worked as expected.

However, my REAL and MAIN wish, is to somehow or even somebody that can create a PowerShell script that would appear during the installation just like it was in Windows 7. Please see image. I just need a window prompt that would select ALL the time zones during Windows 10 setup.

Like I said, if someone here that can perhaps and try to create a script similar to this, I would be even more happier.

Time zone is all messed up


I am located in Europe and all I know is that during the Win10 install it does not have the option to select a Time zone. The default time zone is Pacific Time which is -9 hours behind my time zone.

So for example, when installing Win10 locally here on a Friday February 19 on 1700 my time zone shows from the Original Install Date of February 20 02:00 from running the Systeminfo command.

How can I resolve this issue next time I install Win10 to show my local time zone from the Systeminfo command?

What steps do I need to do?

I would suggest you to check if the values for “set time automatically” and “set time zone automatically” under Date and Time settings are “ON”. If not, then suggest you to make the vale to “ON” and check for the status.

If the issue still persists, follow the steps provided below:

• Press Windows key + R, type services.msc and press Enter.
• Locate Windows Time from the list and double click on the service.
• In Genereal tab, set the Startup type to Automatic.
• Click on Apply and OK.

Time Zones

• What is the make and model of your computer?
• Since when are you facing this issue?

Time Zone will not change automatically while you travel. If you want to change the Time Zone for your computer, you will have to change manually.

Only the live tiles like Weather, News, and Sports have the ability to change with the location.

• Go to control panel.
• Click on "Clock, Language, and Region
• Under "Date and Time", click on "Change the Time Zone"
• Under "Time Zone" click on "Change time zone
• Under "Time Zone, click the current time zone, and select your actual time zone
  • Click OK and you are done.
