  1. timeout not always working in script

l am using a C++ app that shells out a win11 cmd script. The script has "timeout /T 20" in it.The script works fine if I start the app using "run as administrator" or if I just let it run from the task manager startup ie: when the system boots.it does not work when I start the app by clicking on the shortcut. It simply prints "20" and the command shell processor goes immediately to the next line of the script. It there a fix for this in the app?I can enable the administrator option in the shortcut but then I have to confirm every time I run the app.

    :)

I have done the steps listed above. They have not helped and I am still getting constant script errors, along with slow loading pages. Are there any other suggestions?

How to extend or eliminate the timeout at sign in on an Acer Windows

    Hi Lori,

To address your concern, we suggest that you adjust your screen timeout setting. It helps you set the time on how long before the screen will be locked due to inactivity.

You can follow the steps below on how to set your screen timeout:

    1. Right-click on the Desktop, then choose Personalize.

    2. Click Lock screen found on the left pane.

    3. Click Screen timeout settings at the bottom part of the page.

    4. Choose your preferred screen timeout on the drop down list under Screen.

    Let us know the result.

    Regards.
