Don't know if anyone else has this issue, and i've been running around in circles with microsoft about the issue. In my company, we have several computers that are automatically changing timezones to Amsterdam for some reason, and i've yet to figure out why. At first i thought this was with our local internet/server, because we locally host the database for our application we use. However, when i login to the server it shows the correct timezone, CST. and in windows when i sync with the internet for clock, its syncing to the right timezone as well. Here are all the options i've exhausted: - Chan

    timezone nokia asha 302

    Hi adin,

    Welcome to Nokia forum!

Could you check if the "Auto-update of time" is disabled by following these steps:

    • Go to Settings.
    • Select Date and time.
    • Scroll down to Auto-update of time then select Off.
Also, I've checked my Asha 302 and verified that there's no GMT +1 Amsterdam on the timezone list. What you can do is to set it to the nearest place from Amsterdam. It could be +1 Paris or +1 Berlin.

Windows thinks Amsterdam is in timezone UTC +1

I had to adjust the time settings on my new laptop, but I noticed something odd. Right now I'm in The Netherlands so I changed the timezone to the "right" one. Here's a screenshot of my current settings: https://i.gyazo.com/69924f47e903658652e60518c952747b.png

As you can see it says Amsterdam, but UTC +1 is wrong. We're currently in UTC +2. How can I get Windows to recognize this?

    Not changing Timezone automatically

So, I checked this again. When I went to Germany, it changed automatically, everything as it is supposed to. When I came back to Latvia, it stayed in Germany timezone. I connected to WIFI, checked that even MSN weather application switched to Latvia, but
the timezone stayed. I tried turning on/off location, autmatic timezone changes, but nothing helped. Then I set manually timezone and switched it back to automatic timezone change - it switched back to Germany timezone. Now this morning (after ~36h being in
Latvia) it has changed to correct timezone. I kind of didn't do anything, it just shows now correct again. But I'm pretty sure that the issue will reappear next time.
