Windows 10: [Tip] Can't type in search bar / wifi password / explorer search / ctfmon.exe and etc....

I've faced this problem too, so I searched a little for solutions. Last thing I found as a solution is that running ctfmon.exe in c:/windows/system32/ folder either manually by navigating to file or clicking Win+R and typing C:/Windows/System32/ctfmon.exe.

But it happens again if you restart computer. So I found an another way that it add ctfmon.exe to startup and it runs everytime you restart your computer. This is how to do it:

1. 
   Click Win+R
   
   
2. 
   Write regedit and press Enter.
   
   
3. 
   Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
   
   
4. 
   Right Click in folder and go to New -> String
   
   
5. 
   You can name it ctfmon. The double click on it and set value to: C:/Windows/System32/ctfmon.exe
   

Thats all. Close registry and restart. Hope it helped.

Cannot type in Start Menu, Search Bar & WiFi Password

I cannot type in Windows Start Menu, Search Bar and even cannot type the WiFi Password. I tried the steps in the below link and it didn't work.

I have old Netbook runing Windows 10 1909 32-bit my netbook specs 1.6Ghz Atom CPU 2GB DDR2 Ram i have a issue i cant type anything on Windows Explorer Search , Search Bar , i even Can't type my wifi password

If you meant the Cortana search bar, review the suggested solutions on these threads:

• Can't type in Windows 10 search bar.
