Tip: Create a Mini Control Panel in Start Menu

Although Control Panel is being slowly eradicated, there are still a few links that are useful and getting to them via settings menu is a bit unintuitive. You can of course, pin control panel to the Start Menu to make access easier.

People may not be aware that you can pin links from Control Panel to Start as well.

I have just pinned ones I use most to Start Menu. I actually grouped them in one tile as well.

  2. Start Menu , Control Panel

    Hi,

Thank you for posting your query on Microsoft Community.

As per the description, I understand that you are facing some issues using Windows 10.

This might have occurred due to some hardware conflicts.

    Run the Hardware Devices troubleshooter.

An automated troubleshooter is a tool that can find and automatically fix some problems with your computer. These troubleshooters aren't designed to fix every problem, but they're a useful tool to try because they can often save your time and effort.

    • Press “Windows Logo” + “W” keys from the keyboard.
    • Type “Troubleshooting” in the search bar and press “Enter”.
    • In the “Troubleshooting” window, click on “View All” on the left pane.
    • Click on “Hardware and Devices"
    • Click “Next” and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the troubleshooting process.
Run the System File Checker tool (SFC.exe)

System File Checker is a utility in Windows that allows users to scan for corruptions in Windows system files and restore corrupted files. It will scan your system files and to repair missing or corrupted system files in Windows. To run the SFC scan,
refer to the Microsoft article below.

  3. Start Menu , Control Panel

When I click on anything in the tool bar (settings, control panel etc) I can't use my mouse, I can only operate it and click other things via the keyboard (using tab, shift, enter, arrows etc). Where in my settings do I go to change this??
