Discus and support Title bar and other fonts suddenly 24 point huge on 4K TV in Windows 10 Customization to solve the problem; I've been running Windows 10 20h2 in 1920x1080 with 100% scale even though 3840x2160 is recommended on my 4K TV.     Title bar and other fonts suddenly 24 point huge on 4K TV


    I've been running Windows 10 20h2 in 1920x1080 with 100% scale even though 3840x2160 is recommended on my 4K TV. It's been running fine then suddenly the fonts got big. This would be some time after cumulative update KB5000802. I'm using the default theme.I found WinTools System Font Size Changer which allows me to override the 24 point font setting, that appears to be the current system default, back down to 9 point. That at least makes the computer usable.I've checked the various registry keys but they seem to be ignored.Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control

    “Change Font Size” "Title Bar" has only one setting 24

    Win 10 at personalization font size I have only one setting for Title bar '24'

    and it's way too big, but there are no other options

    Dell Inspiron 15-7577 Windows 10 - Huge Title Bars and Cursors

    I have a Dell Inspiron laptop with a 4k screen running Windows 10.

    In order to actually read any type of text, I reduce the resolution from 3840x2160 to a very normal 1920x1080 without any font scaling. For the most part, this is absolutely fine however, on occasions, the display suddenly "changes" and things go weird:

    Thick black borders around floating windows
    Massive cursors in some applications (others are normal)
    Double-height window title bars with extra large fonts and icons
    The only way to recover the situation is to reboot.

    My guess is that its a graphics driver issue (NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060) but I'm running the latest version.

    Anyone else experienced anything similar?

    This issue might have occurred due to incorrect settings.
    I would suggest you to follow the below steps to change the font size in the title bar.


    • Type display in the search bar and press enter

    • Under “change only text size “select title bar

    • Choose the font size accordingly
