Windows 10: Title bar has moved offscreen, and Alt + Spacebar + M no longer works - how do I move my...

I have Windows 11 Version 23H2 installed on my PC, and all updates installed as they are available.Since the las update 2024-02-26, I've discovered the Alt + Spacebar + M command no longer works to move a window whose title bar has been moved offscreen. What is the new way to fix this?

What would be useful is if you take any window and reduce its size (ie so it is not minimised and not full screen). Then do alt-spacebar, M. At this point the arrow keys will move it. Enter then brings it back to normal, and leaves it where the arrow keys have moved it to. The test it to move it so that the top bar of the window is lifted above the top of the screen. Then press enter. Does your window stay above the top of the screen at this point? Or does it click down to be fully within the screen?

If it does click down on your computer as well as mine, then this is built into the alt-spacebar trick. If it does not click down on your computer, but it does click down on mine, there is something wrong with Windows at my end.

Alt + Spacebar + M allows me to move a small windows up above the top of screen, but pressing Enter bring it back down so the top of the window is flush with the top of the screen. So it appears this is the intended behavior.

Can't move window with move command

If you're using the mouse, you don't need Alt+Spacebar, M --- you can just click & drag the Title bar.

For keyboard move, Alt+Spacebar, M, then use the arrow keys
without the Windows key & press <Enter> when in the desired position.
