Windows 10: tmp.drivedownload file

    I have been having a problem on my,y surface Pro4 and a mysterious file titled tmp.divedownload. I was in the process of copying a large chunk of data from my surface to Goggle drive when a large chunk of my data disappeared and this tm.p.drivedowload file appeared.. I can't open it but I can copy it. When I copied the file the copy file progress detailer showed my missing files and a file size of ~16GB. How can I open thjis tpe and get mt files back?

    How to change location of MSI????.tmp file

    Hi,

    You may change the location of the .tmp file by following the steps provided below:

    • Go to This PC.
    • Right-click This PC, and then select Advanced System Setting.
    • Click Environment Variables.
    • Under system variable, double-click tmp and change the path for the file of your reference.

    If the location still can't be changed, we suggest that you post it on our
