Windows 10: To fix Windows error I need Repair Mode or BIOS to allow reinstall --but I have Acer Black...

My Windows 11 has a corruption causing "environmental error" message if I try to CMD anything like SFC scan, or most functions that run as administrator. I can't reset PC or many start up functions either. Normally I would just fix in Recovery Mode, or BIOS w/Media Creation Tool install --but I have an Acer Nitro 5 with black screen. I use an external monitor, is there any way I can see BIOS or Safe Mode display? I saved all important data and just need to do whatever I can to reinstall Windows. Any advice would be much appreciated

Black Screen after upgrade to latest Acer Bios

Hi,

Can anyone help provide a solution to fix the following issue?

I am able to load into safe mode with standard ms video driver. For normal mode of windows / linux (ubuntu/kubuntu), I am unable to boot.
I've follow the solution given by acer, but none of them are work.

I did reach out to them and they do not want to provide the responsibility and keep all the blame to client.

Win 10 Pro Anniversary Update = black screen when running games. Is there a fix?

I'd reinstall the drivers, which you can do and choose a clean install.

If that fails, check Event Logs and see if anything is reported. Do your games run fine otherwise?

I'd also suggest you run an SFC repair, see if that finds anything.

If that does find errors and can't fix themall...do a DISM repair.

Check out the Windows Repair link in my sig for directions on the repairs if you end up needing to go that route. I'd bet a clean driver install fixes it tho...maybe try an older driver? You have 6+ months worth to choose from for that card.
