I have purchased Nero Burning ROM software dated Nov 8,21. I have been receiving the error saying that duplicate license exists while I tries to write to the disc. I have been facing this error since last few months.I was to send the data to the copyright office dated Mar 16,

I have purchased retail copy of Windows 10.0 software which is installed on my laptop. I have purchased Nero Burning ROM software dated Nov 8,21.

I have been receiving the error saying that duplicate license exists while I tries to write to the disc. I have been facing this error since last few months.

I was to send the data to the copyright office dated Mar 16,24 via Speed Post but because the software was not allowing me to write to the disc, I could not send it via disc. I made use of flash drive in order to copy the data and send it to the copyright office. I contacted Nero Customer Care dated Mar 16,24 at 03:28 A.M. (IST) where they suggested me some proxy and network related settings to check. I tried those settings but noticed that those changes are not working.

I make use of Mobile data to access the Internet and the application is activated using mobile data. In the last year, because the support for ESet Mobile Security was removed for Android 5.1.1 mobile phones, I started to make use of my tablet in order to access the data. The mobile phone has Two Vodafone SIM Cards and the Tablet has One Airtel SIM card thare in it. It could be a possibility that because of network concern, I could have activated the software using my Android 5.1.1 data.

I need to activate my Nero Burning ROM software urgently for use in my work.

Do I need to format my laptop and activate the software Nero Burning ROM again ? Please reply this post immediately.

I understand your concern and we will provide the assistance required to resolve the issue.

Before we proceed, I would like you to provide the information stated below:

• Can you provide the error that you have receive about the double activation?
• Do you have installation media for Nero or was it pre installed?
• Can you provide a screen shot of the issue?

If you have a media installation device for Nero, I would suggest that you uninstall it and then re-install the software again and check.

Run CMD


1. diskpart
2. list disk

Then in the 3º step, put the correct number of disk in the list for the usb flash (if it's listed in disk 3, then you'll have to write select disk 3).

2. select disk #
3. clean
4. create partition primary
5. select partition 1
6. active
7. format fs=fat32
8. assign
9. exit

with that commands you will format the flash drive in fat32, if you have a large drive you can select also "format fs=ntfs" in step 7.
