Windows 10: to LemP

In 2017, you replied "Congratulation!" to someone you had helped find something in the "extensions category."

I believe I am experiencing the same issue, but I need to know what this thing is called so i can look for it.

You sir were correct, it was tucked away in the extensions category. I deleted it, and ran a google search again, and it still sent me to a yahoo search. I shut down my computer, waited a couple minutes, and started back up. No more yahoo searches.

How to restore the preview pane in Windows Explorer in Windows 7

Hello LemP,

I followed the steps listed but it stops making sense at step 9

9. Select the hive you had loaded (i.e., click on the name you picked in Step 7) and go to File > Unload Hive (do not forget this step!).

Although I am able to go through step 6 and to load the netuser.dat and gave it a name "test01"; I cannot load it because I cannot find the hive called "test01" so stuck at step 9

How do I contact LemP? He/she was helping me with a printer problem, replied in my email but when I hit the Reply button (in my email), I received Mailer-Daemon.....

 

Have gone off-grid and must now use laptops-Can I validate my legitimate copy of XP home by using another computer?
