Windows 10: To Microsoft: Make a Xbox themed "Console Mode" on Windows 10.

Hey I'll keep this short and straight to the point.

I think it would be a great idea to create a "Console Mode" for Windows 10 to make gaming that much more accessible.

Using the new "Game Bar Launcher" app you could easily make it possible to enter said "Console Mode" with a button combination like Xbox Button & Menu and/or View Button. Or click the Xbox button to bring up Game Bar Launcher and then click View.


I believe it would make it possible to use a controller through out all of windows (almost) with some obvious capability issues but overall would make a great fluid feature for Windows especially because it would be pretty easy to replicate the Xbox theme to Windows making it already familiar. (also forces Sony fanboys to face the fact that they already own an xbox if they have a PC ����)

Connect the console to his Xbox app on Windows

Hey Xbox Gamer!

In order to get your console connected with your Xbox App again, we suggest you try performing a

Factory Reset while keeping your games and apps.

1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
2. Select Settings.
3. Select All Settings.
4. Select System.
5. Select Console info & updates.
6. Select Reset console.

Make sure you have your email and password as you will be asked to sign back into your account afterwards. Let us know if this helps!

 

Xbox one / Microsoft store

If you're connected to Xbox Live, then you should normally be able to access the Microsoft Store on your Xbox One. Let's try to isolate the issue by performing the following solutions below:

Solution 1: Power cycle your Xbox One console.

• Turn off the Xbox One console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds until it shuts down completely. 
• Unplug the console's power cable. Wait 10 seconds. Be sure to wait 10 seconds. This step resets the power supply.
• Plug the console power cable back in.
• Press the Xbox button on your console to turn on the Xbox One.

Solution 2: Clear the storage cache on the console.

• Press the menu key on the controller.
• Go to Settings, and then select Disc & Blu-Ray.  
• In the Blu-Ray section select Persistent Storage.  
• Select Clear persistent storage.

Solution 3: Clear MAC address on your Xbox One to refresh network setting.

• Scroll left on the Home screen to open the guide.  
• Select Settings.  
• Select All Settings.  
• Select Network.  
• Select Network settings.  
• Select Advanced settings.  
• Select Alternate MAC address.  
• Select Clear.

• Have you tried to watch videos from other websites using the Microsoft Edge on Xbox One?
