    To run as IE10 instead of IE11 in Windows-10 Pro


    We have our IE11 versioned internal browser. Our application will be working perfectly in IE11 Browser but it is not supported in IE10. Our expectation is not to update the browser from IE10 to IE11 , but when the application is launched in IE10 Browser we insert this Meta Tag <meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=11"> to force their browser to use IE-11 mode without them having to update their internal browser to IE11. But it is not working. Is there any possible solution to handle this issue.

    Downgrade IE11 to IE10 on windows 10 Professional

    No, you cannot install IE10 on Windows 10.

    You can emulate IE7 or IE8 with Enterprise Mode.

    Or you can place sites in the Compatibility View list (Menu Bar> Tools)

    This will send an IE7 User Agent sting to websites.

    Or you can use Developer Tool (F12) to emulate another version of IE.

    The emulation will only be in effect while Developer Tool is open.
