    To turn USB Filter ON by using DISM.


    ALL my USB HUBS on this PC (Win.10(Pro) are NOT working after April Updates(1803). I tried to use Admin Command but, not successful.


    Result copy attached:

    C:\WINDOWS\system32>Dism /online /Enable-Feature /FeatureName: ISKU-USBFilter
    Error: 87
    The /FeatureName: option is missing a required argument.
    For more information, refer to the help for the /FeatureName: option.
    The DISM log file can be found at C:\WINDOWS\Logs\DISM\dism.log
    C:\WINDOWS\system32>


    How do I solve the problem?

    Filter Keys

    Hi,

    Filter Keys are part of the Ease of Access features in Windows 10 that can help users control the keypress repeat rate and ignore the repeated keys. This setting can be disabled by following these steps:

    • Click Start.
    • Type Control Panel and press Enter.
    • Click Ease of Access.
    • Click Change how your keyboard works.
    • Click Set up Filter Keys.
    • Uncheck Turn on Filter Keys when right SHIFT is pressed for 8 seconds.
    • Uncheck Turn on Filter Keys.
    • Click Apply.
    • Click OK.
    • Restart your computer.

    Let us know if you were able to turn Filter Keys off after following these steps.

    Programs not working


    In post 26 there were steps listed to fix the operating system corruption.
    Are you able to follow them?
    In post 29 was the suggested dism repair command.
