    Today I can't hide taskbar in fullscreen mode on many games.


    Taskbar won't go away during gameplay. I'm playing on fullscreen and games are indeed fullscreen. This is recent issue since yesterday I didn't have such problem.Today I was cleaning my keyboard and I let myself press multitude of buttons. I don't want my taskbar gone - I want to browse net as I used to - with taskbar - so option to always hide taskbar won't work for me.

    Taskbar isnt hiding

    The windows 10 taskbar wont (Frustratingly) hide when I do anything fullscreen related. For example, In youtube it goes fullscreen, but the taskbar wont hide. Same thing with games or anything fullscreen related. one example of "Anything fullscreen related"
    is a common steam game : Unturned. the taskbar wont hide during fullscreen mode. Also, Please do not suggest auto-hide. auto-hide is as cancerous as the problem itself, In my opinion.

    Not sure if I need to put the thread here or in software but as of recently whenever I go to fullscreen mode for a video or game, no matter which application the task bar for windows still shows. I never had auto hide on before and until recently never was an issue. This is a short list of apps that this happens in:
    Google Chrome version 55 (youtube, netflix, crunchyroll)
    Firefox version 50 (youtube, netflix, crunchyroll)
    VLC Media Player version 2.2.2 (locally stored content)
    numerous games from Steam with the exception of a couple.
    As far as I know there were no windows updates and no additional programs downloaded since it last worked as I wanted it to. As stated above I never enabled auto hide as I know this would solve the issue but I find that more troublesome than this bar. I have windows 10 anniversary update. If more information would help fix this issue I would be happy to assist.
    Attached is an example.

    Taskbar not hiding when I enter fullscreen mode with windows store apps

    No, I don't want to hide the taskbar for the majority of the time, only when I go fullscreen it usually just disappears and the app goes fullscreen. Is there another option apart from auto hide taskbar in desktop mode?
