The lady that supposedly helped me is called Angela Green. Is this real? Or am i being scammed? Has this ever happened to somone else?

Malware/Trojan horse pop up

I have just received a pop up which claims that my PC has been invaded by a Trojan horse and that my personal data etc is at risk- It seems to come from Microsoft and has come through MS Edge which I don't use normally. The error code it quotes is 0x80070424.
This means nothing to me. I did call the Toll Free number 0800-014 8984 but there was no answer. Should I be suspicious and how do I remove the pop up which now inhabits my screen. Google Chrome etc work well.

 

Trojan horse message popped up

I had a nessage pop up while using a site i commonly use on microsoft edge. There was an alarming noise on the computer and a message popped up say "this site says" and explained that there was a trojan horse virus. I did ctrl+alt+delete and immediately
ended microsoft edge. I started a scan but im concerned i actually have the virus. Does anybody know what happened? What should i do?? Would windows defender detect a trojan?

 

Trojan Horse Warning

Is 1-888-288-6775 a legitimate Microsoft Support phone number? Had a laoud audio and video warning pop up on my screen saying it was a Trojan Spyware Alert & to contact that number. Is this a hacker scam?
