Windows 10: Today my PC has stopped detecting any controller.

I'm on Windows 10. Last night they all worked and an hour ago when I hopped on they no longer do. I have tried Xbox X, Ps4 and Ps5 controllers, all with the correct cable, and they are no longer being detected. Using bluetooth for the Ps4 and Ps5 controllers also does not work. They will pair just fine and show up with the other devices but they do not work. They appear as "wireless controller" when wired or through Bluetooth in Devices and Printers but when right clicking and selecting "game controller settings" no device appears. Xbox One controller being recognized as a 360 Controller

There are several reasons why your Xbox One controller is detected as an Xbox 360 controller by your PC. It is possible that the controller is not updated or if you previously used an Xbox 360 controller on the PC, it is still detecting its drivers instead
of the Xbox One controller drivers. To properly isolate your concern, please clarify the following information:

• Have you used an Xbox 360 controller on the same computer before?
• Does the error message occur on all of the games that you play?
• Have you tried to update the controller?
• Are you using an Xbox One Elite controller?

My PC cannot detect my pen drive

Kindly provide us more details about the issue so we can assist you better:

• Were there any changes made on your PC prior to the issue?
• Have you tried connecting your pen drive to other devices to check if it's being detected?

In the meantime, we suggest that you do the following steps:

Method 1: Run the Troubleshoot Hardware and Devices

• Press Windows key + R and type Control Panel.
  
• Type troubleshooting in the search bar and click on
  Troubleshooting.
• Click on Hardware and Devices.
• Follow the steps from the wizard to run the troubleshooter.
  

Method 2: Uninstall and re-install USB drivers

• Press Windows key + R and type devmgmt.msc to open
  Device Manager.
• Expand Universal Serial Bus controllers.
• Right-click the first USB controller under Universal Serial Bus controllers, and then click on
  Uninstall to remove it.
• Repeat these steps for the entire USB controller under Universal Serial Bus controllers.
• Restart the computer. Windows will automatically scan for hardware changes and reinstall all the USB controllers that you uninstalled.
  

If the issue persists, download the latest USB drivers for your PC from the manufacturer's website.

PC won't detect ps4 controller

Hello Paul,

I have used DS4 for years. It seems that the main problem is Windows 10! However, try these
