    Toggle focus between monitors in windows 10


    I'm looking for a hotkey to toggle focus between two extended monitors on windows 10. This means, if I have multiple windows open on each I can jump between the top window on either monitor with a single keystroke, regardless of when I last focused on it this is why Alt+Tab is not the same thing. This is not the same as what win+shift+right-arrow does, which moves windows between screens. I want to hop between the windows at the top of either screen while leaving them in their current locations. I had this configured on KDE/Kubuntu and it was indespensible but circumstances require that I

    Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

    Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK

    To Turn On or Off Toggle Keys Tone

    Hi Marcela,

    Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community, we appreciate your interest in Windows 10.

    As you have an issue with sound on toggle keys, I suggest you to change the toggle keys settings
    and check.

    Steps:

    • Press Windows key from keyboard and type
      Toggle.
    • Select Hear a tone while pressing Caps lock, Num lock and Scroll lock.
    • Under Toggle keys, change the settings and check.

    If the issue still persists, Run troubleshooter from
    Fix sound problems and check.

    DTS supported natively by Windows 8/8.1 and it should work on windows 10 too just DDL require to unlock your driver .
