Windows 10: Toggle Keys Malfunction

My laptop doesn’t have a light indicator for "num lock" and I have turned on the Toggle Keys. But I barely hear the sound.After investigation, the following unbelievable is happening. I use Chrome to listen to music and from "settings" ---> "App volume and device preferences", I’ve connected Chrome to external Bluetooth speakers, lowering the volume to 7%. And believe it or not, this is the reason I don’t hear the toggle keys. I connect Chrome back to the default built-in speakers and I hear the toggle keys loud and clear.When on default built-in speakers Chrome is set to 7%, I still hear l

To Turn On or Off Toggle Keys Tone

As you have an issue with sound on toggle keys, I suggest you to change the toggle keys settings
and check.

Steps:

• Press Windows key from keyboard and type
  Toggle.
• Select Hear a tone while pressing Caps lock, Num lock and Scroll lock.
• Under Toggle keys, change the settings and check.

If the issue still persists, Run troubleshooter from
Fix sound problems and check.

Toggle keys stopped working after Windows 10 update

• Does this issue occur only while using the Microsoft Office Suite?
• What is the exact error message that you get?

Check if the Sticky Keys and Toggle keys are turned on. If yes, I suggest you to turn it off. To do so, follow these steps:

• Press Windows key + I and click on Ease of Access.
• Click on Keyboard tab.
• Turn off Sticky Keys and Toggle keys.
• Check if the issue persist.
