Windows 10: Toggle Recording Devices

I am trying to use my wireless earbuds via an external Bluetooth adapter. Here's my issue, if I enable the earbuds as a recording device, and use the hands-free telephony, then the audio quality goes down. The way I get around this is by disabling the earbuds as a recording device and forcing the sound to go through as stereo. While the audio is going through the stereo channel the quality is good, but I cannot use the earbuds for voice calls for obvious reasons. I want to try and create a batch file that can toggle the earbuds as a recording device and or swap my audio channel from stereo to hands-free telephony. So far the closest thing I've found is using pnputil but that doesn't seem to do exactly what I need or I'm doing it wrong. Is this possible? or does anyone know of a way around this?

• Click View all.
• Select Recording Audio.
• Follow the steps to troubleshoot Recording Audio.

A Code 10 error is generated in Device Manager in one of the following situations:

• Device Manager can't start the device.
• One of the drivers that the device needs does not start.
• Device Manager has insufficient information to recognize the error that is bubbled up by the device driver.

Let us try the following steps, and check if it helps.

Step 1: Hardware and Devices Troubleshooter.

I suggest you to run hardware and devices troubleshooter and check.

• • Type troubleshooting in the search box on taskbar.
    
  • Click on Troubleshooting in the search results.
  • Click on Hardware and Sound and select Hardware and Devices and click on
    Next to run the troubleshooter.

Step 2: Update the driver.

• Press Windows key + X, and select
  Device Manager.
• In Device Manager, click the Driver tab in the device's
  Properties dialog box.
• Click Update Driver to start the Hardware Update Wizard.
  
• Follow the instructions to update the driver.
