Windows 10: Tons of Windows apps/processes broken

The first issue that started was my txt files not opening, and I found out that the notepad UI would not show up unless I ran it in administrator mode. The same issue happened with other Windows processes such as Snipping Tool or Win + V shortcut to open clipboard history. Nothing would pop up or work at all. Then, every single button on my taskbar stopped working besides app buttons including windows search.I ended up using the "Fix problems using Windows Update" feature which fixed my taskbar buttons.Issue is, my search bar and many of my Windows processes were still broken because I had t

Mail app will not open on 10041.

This is the suggested solution below if you haven't already tried it.

In this Windows 10 build 10041, the Mail, Calendar, and People apps may be broken due to a licensing issue with the Store Beta. To get these apps working again, you need to follow these steps:

• Open powershell as administrator
• Run the command Get-appxprovisionedpackage –online | where-object {$_.packagename –like “*windowscommunicationsapps*”} | remove-appxprovisionedpackage –online
• Re-install Mail, People and Calendar from the Store (green tile)
