    Windows 10 - where have my toolbar options gone?

    Hi,

    Apologies for the late reply.



    What toolbars are you referring to?

    Do you find them in Windows .old folder > Program files?




    • Please try the following steps to browse to program files under Windows.old.

    • Press Windows + E keys to open Windows Explorer

    • Open C: Drive

    • Open Windows.old folder

    • Open Program files and look for toolbars here.


    You may change the color of taskbar by changing the themes.




    • Right click on Desktop and click on Personalize

    • Click Themes and select a theme which you like.

    Hi,

    Thank you for posting your query on Microsoft Community.

    This issue might be due to the compatibility of the Office 97 toolbar application with Windows 10.
    I suggest you to install the Office 97 toolbar application in compatibility mode and check.
    Follow the steps to install the drivers in compatibility mode.

    • Download the drivers from the manufacturer’s website.
    • Right-click on the installer and click on "Properties".
    • Click on the ‘compatibility’ tab and check the box "Run this program in compatibility mode for” and select previous Operating System from the drop down.
    • Click on ‘Apply’ and click ‘OK’ and run the file to install it.

    Also, I suggest you to check with the Office 97 toolbar manufacturers once for any updates on the software.

    toolbar dont show opened programs

    IE11 Google Toolbar no auto search suggestions, no search history?

    Since the last Win 10 update my Google Toolbar won't list any search suggestions as I type and there is no search history listed. The Google tool bar will allow a search, but after a few searches no search history shows and no "clear search" button is listed either.

    I have turnd on "Suggest searches as you type", and "store search histroy on my computer" in the Google Toolbar options.

    Any suggestions to fix this?
