Windows 10: TORPIG

Yesterday, I received a call from a tech that said he was from Microsoft responding to a request for service. He performed a scan on my PC and found a Torpig Malware. He talked my into removing it and adding Microsoft 365 to my machine etc. He was from a company called FASTHV. I think I am screwed?

Possible scam with Torpig?

I have been hit by TORPIG thing... supposedly it is embedded now in my computer... got hit today and it appeared as if being Microsoft with a legitimate appearing Microsoft page...

 

Torpig scam 1-888-959-1461

I fell for the Torpig fraud and gave them access to the computer. However when they asked for payment I stopped. What should I do about them having access?

The same happened with me, 888-861-4163 (later found it on google as a Ford dealer in OH) and 877-881-2186 who was a company named "One Stop Solution", spoke w/two technicians, one (John Cooper connected to my pc through mypc123 and prompted me to contact
one of three "local" businesses to rid my ip network of "TORPIG", a network virus of sorts; another, Charlie Scars (?) who was rude when I asked how he can prove they are legit, telling me I have "Too much free time on my hands" and if I want their help I
need to pay them $400 - really? I mean, should I take anyones' word for being certified technicians? wanting only the best for my pc?

Does Microsoft work with One stop Solution? Is this a SCAM? I downloaded spybot and Malwarebytes and none of them detect TORPIG...
