    Toshiba Passport won't transfer files


    Hello.I'm having issues with my Toshiba passport. All of a sudden it's having issues transferring files when this was not an issue before. At first I was trying to transfer pictures I had saved up on my laptop more than 1,000 but the files did not transfer over to the folder on the passport. I then tried transferring the files in smaller batches 80 or so and it worked for a while before stopping altogether. I thought this was an issue with my laptop and have restarted it several times but it seems that the passport only transfers when it wants to now and sometimes I can't even get ONE pict

    Windows 10 transfer mp4 file to WD passport

    Two part question. My main concern is I'm trying to move a 3gb mp4 file from a movies folder on my desktop onto a 1tb WD passport ultra. The file started to transfer, then at 14% an error message showed the file was no longer in that location. I wasn't thinking
    when I was transferring it to the passport, I moved the mp4 to a different file location. It stopped and I tried again from the new location on the desktop. An error keep occurring saying the file location is not found. I've deleted it from the passport and tried
    to transfer it many times, just wont work. Any help please?

    2: does WD make anyone else's Acer laptop slowed after windows 10 upgrade? I am not backing up data, so it doesn't make sense and this is not when I am transferring files.

    Toshiba Passport won't transfer files

    Can't access files restored from wd passport

    I have looked at the numerous inquiries on this subject. Most are old and the suggestions do not coincide with the menu selections. So, I will try this.

    • New computer HP pavillion
    • Windows 10
    • Backup files stored on wd passport
    • restored the files to the new pc
    • can't view, access,
    • message that I don't have permission
    • tried to change permission
    • did not work
