toshiba s855-s5381 with windows 10 cannot wake up after sleep. It seems to be in the process of waking up, the cpu fan would turn on, but the display remains turned off, long press the power button would shut it down, then it would boot up. Sometimes the first shutdown and boot up would get into the same state and it would mostly boot up on the second try. The fast boot up is turned off, which did not help.Clean reboot disabling all non-microsoft services seems to help with only the first sleep afterawards."sfc /scannow" sometime finds a problem and fixes it, sometime it does not, and the

Thank you for posting your reply. Apologize for the delay in response.

I suggest you to check which devices are configured to wake up the computer from sleep by following the steps below:

• Right click on Start icon and select Command Prompt (Admin).
• Type the command line below:

Powercfg /devicequery wake_armed

3. Check if the devices (Keyboard, Mouse, Ethernet cable) are listed.

If the system is not going to sleep and going to Hybernate, the only option to wake up is to press the Power button.

if someone can tell me that they were able to load up Windows 10 on a Toshiba Satellite laptop, preferably on a toshiba laptop s855-s5378... that would be great news and an incentive for me to try to do the same.

If you are running Win 8.1, there shouldn't be a problem at all.
