    Toshiba Satellite C655 Laptop internal microphone doesn't record


    I have an older model and the internal microphone doesn't work. I've tried it with several apps and nothing records. I confirmed in the settings that the microphone is enabled and ran a fix it. The app said the microphone is working properly. But it's not. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the updates from Toshiba and also Microsoft and nothing works. I'm going to purchase a mini-USB microphone for the laptop but would prefer the use the internal one. Any ideas?

    Toshiba Satellite L450 internal mic not working.

    My Toshiba Satellite L450D Internal mic is not working. I am using Windows 10 and have tried updating the drivers as well as reinstalling the microphone. I have checked everything suggested. The mic is the internal Realtek High Definition. I have used the
    troubleshooter and it hasn't sorted it.

    Any thoughts?
