Windows 10: Toshiba Satellite C850-1GL Recovery Media

Hi,The hard drive in my Toshiba C850-1GL recently died and I need to reinstall the original Windows 8 onto a new SSD. I have put the new drive in but don't have any original recovery media.Does anyone have any recovery media that they have and would back up and share or that they could create from their machine and upload to a file sharing place like archive.org or google drive etc?Toshiba/Dynabook have recently deleted all the drivers for the UK Toshiba Satellites, so a clean reinstall would not be possible.Info that might be useful:TOSHIBA SATELLITE C850-1GLPART NO. I doubt the bios would have any effect, sounds more like the battery is dead.

How Do I Enable Backlight Keyboard on TOSHIBA Satellite C850 Windows 10

If you are assured that your laptop keyboard has backlight, kindly Press Fn + Y.

If it did not work, look for the back light key on the row of function keys on your keyboard or try F10 , Fn + F10 or Esc + Fn + F10 to see if it enables back light or not.
