Windows 10: Toshiba Satellite L350-17R

I have the L350-17R, model PSLD8E-01W008EN. It has a 2GHz Intel Core Duo T6400. It is billed as '64 bit ready'. However I'm only able to install 32 bit Windows 10 Pro. A message stating that the installer image won't work consult the software vendor is displayed for any 64 bit OS, even as far back as Windows 7 Pro.Is there any way this laptop can be made to install a 64 bit OS I'd like to use 8Gb Ram. It's currently limited to just 2.87Gb with the 32 bit systemThanks Ric

How to get into safe mode on Toshiba satellite

Does anyone know how to get into safe mode on a toshiba satellite. Black/blue screen with solid cursor after creator update fail. F8 is disabled by default in windows 10, so please do not suggest anything that requires win 10 to be working.
