Windows 10: Total Recorder Professional Edition Software

I've been using Total Recorder Professional Edition Software for many years without any hitches. When I recently purchased a new computer with Windows 11 Pro and attempted to save a screen recording in the MPEG-4 format, the product ran into an error. When I contacted the developer, I was told the product can record i.e., you see it recording but not save the MPEG-4 format, which is the most popular universal format.Developer advised use another format such as WMV or AVI. I see the developer had added a reference to its web page. I did find that the product would record and save and mp4 file

Edit the Steps recorder document

How can I edit the Steps recorded by the Steps recorder application? Once I finish recording the necessary steps, there are few steps I'd like to delete and few comments that I'd like to edit.

So if I open the saved file in word document and edit it there I need it to,

• automatically update the number of the proceeding steps when I delete one in between.
• Retain the size of the images and overall page size in the MHTML document. (I've noticed that if I make a single change, the size of image increase more than the screen size and the MHTML document isn't responsive.)

 

Can not record audio.

We suggest that you run troubleshooting for Audio Recording by following these steps:

• Type troubleshooting on the search box.
• Click View all.
• Select Recording Audio.
• Follow the steps to troubleshoot Recording Audio.

Video Editing Software?

I have a friend who's getting into recording video games and posting videos on youtube. He needs some video editing software to work with. Shouldn't need anything too fancy, something simple and easy to work with. Does anyone have any suggestions?
