    Touch ID stopped working out of nowhere and is unavailable.


    The last thread with this problem was closed and as far as I'm aware it wasn't solved. It had been working fine and I've never been rough with the button or anything but all the sudden a few days ago it stopped working completelythe button itself works fine. In settings it's completely unavailable and even notes it can't find a fingerprint scanner compatible. A few weeks ago my indicator for my caps lock wasn't working but eventually it started working again. I think it might have done a system update or whatever while it was asleep so I'm g

    Thank you for posting to the Microsoft Community. I understand you're running in to a Windows Live ID service is unavailable error when trying to sync notes. I also understand that a hard reset has been unable to resolve the issue.



    There are a few other steps that I found listed in another forum that may be helpful. The steps are marked as the answer for
