Windows 10: Touch Keyboard showing on screen every Wednesday

We have a fleet of PCs being used as Zoom Rooms, some of which have been in service for a few years now.Starting on the 27th of April, the Windows Touch Keyboard is visible on screen on around a third of the Zoom Room PCs every Wednesday. The Touch Keyboard covers the lower third of the Zoom Room application and as there are no user accessible keyboards or mice the PCs need a reboot to clear the Touch Keyboard from screen there is a wireless keyboard and mouse connected to the PCs, but users can't access them. Touch screens

I can do 60 words per minute on my phone, perhaps more now as I've got used to the phone. ( htc desire z, using the stock onscreen keyboard)

Touch screen + predictive text I recon I could equal my keyboard typing speed. Maybe beat it depending on how advance the predictions are.

( hard to use predictive software on traditional keyboards as there is no way to quickly choose the suggested word, where as touch screen keyboards can have the suggested words appear above the function keys)

 

On screen Keyboard

To quickly access the On-screen Keyboard (OSK) without going to Settings, follow the steps below:

• Right-click on the taskbar.
• Make sure that the "Show touch keyboard button" is enabled.
• Touch keyboard icon will appear on the notification area.
• Click on it to launch the On-Screen Keyboard.

Add the Touch Keyboard Icon to the Action Center

Adding the touch keyboard on the items in Action Center is currently not available in Windows 10. However, you can change the settings to automatically show the touch keyboard when you use the device in tablet mode. If you'd like to do this, you can
follow these steps:

• Click on Start.
• Open Settings.
• Select Devices.
• Go to Typing.
• Under Touch keyboard settings, switch on Automatically show the touch keyboard in windowed apps when there’s no keyboard attached to your device.
