    Hello, I have recently been having a problem with my touchpad not working, it comes on and off and when I researched it some websites told me to uninstall the Synaptics precision touchpad filter and restart my device. I have done that numerous times on my HP Pavillionx360 - 14 and it still isn't working, then I went into my I2C HID Device and it said it cannot start. Code 10 A request for the HID descriptor failed. I then deleted my Synaptics Touchpad Device and it hasn't been redownloaded. Please help me as I need to get this fixed as soon as possible, thank you.

    HP Laptop Touch Pad problem


    I updated to 10 and fount that the slider bars on the touch pad don't work. The system doesn't have a mouse which it knows and shows a touch pad there and working but the sliders do not work. That am I doing wrong?
