Windows 10: Touch screen driver disappeared over a year ago

I have an HP all-in-one 23-q113w touch. The touch screen suddenly stopped working over a year ago. I did a system restore two times. I have updated everything. The touch screen driver is not under the hid drivers in the device manager. Yet it is a good pc except for the touch screen and that is the sole reason I purchased this pc. I use it without touch, but I am desperate to fix it. I have repeatedly posted about this in the past, and am doing so again in hopes there might be someone out there who can help me.I even tried to find a compatible touchscreen driver but I didn't succeed.H

Method 1: Check if the touch screen driver is enabled.

• In the Search bar, type Device Manager.
• Locate Human Interface Devices and look for touch screen.
  
• Right-click touch screen and check if it is enabled. If not, please enable it.

Method 2: Reinstall the touch screen driver.

• In Device Manager, go to Human Interface Devices.
• Locate touch screen again and right-click it to Uninstall
  the driver.
• Restart your PC to automatically install the driver.

This issue could have happened due to any outdated drivers.

As an initial step, let's Install all the pending updates on your computer and check if the issue still persist; Follow the below steps to check for pending updates.

• 
  Click on Update & security, then click on
  Windows Update.

  Select Check for updates. If Windows Update says that your PC is up to date, you have all the updates that are currently available.
  
• Press Windows key+ I to open the
  Settings.

Method 1: Run hardware troubleshooter

• Press Windows + X key.
• From the jump menu select Control Panel.
• On the Top right click on view by and select large icons.
• Go to troubleshooting.
• On the Left panel click View all items.

If issue persist, I suggest you to refer method 2 and check if it helps.

Method 2:

I suggest you to update the touch drivers from device manager and restart the system and check if it helps.

To uninstall the touch drivers follow the steps below:

• Press Windows + X key.
• From the jump menu select Device Manager.
• Go to Human Interface Devices.
• Select the touch driver.
• Right click and select update.
