Windows 10: Touch screen of my laptop works only when start it and stops responding after 2-3 mins....

Now I dont know if it's a software or hardware issue coz the touch worked fine before the update, last month it stopped after the update so I did a hard reset and it worked, but this time is it only works for a few minutes when the windows starts. I've tried everything apart from opening the laptop (which isn't an option right now for me) but since the touch does work for sometime isn't it a software problem! Help would be much appreciated.

my touch screen stopped responding to touch

My touch screen still displays fine and responds to mouse movements and keyboard input, but my touch screen suddenly stopped responding to touch. My device driver shows only a generic PNP monitor with a generic Microsoft driver. Also under human interface
devices, the HID compliant touch screen is missing. I was able to locate a likely driver file but it is disabled and I don't know how to enable it. HELP! I keep reaching for the screen out of habit. it is really frustrating!

Ok, let the powershell command run overnight
If the command didn't solve the problem, the try these steps in order:

1. Disable superfetch service
   • Empty the following folder c:\Windows\Prefetch\
   • Restart the computer
   • Si ça ne marche pas, passer à l'étape 2;
2. Disable the AppXSvc from the registry: change the "Start" key value from 3 to 4 (see the screenshot)

try the card in another machine is all i can suggest now. If it works in that one but not urs then obviously the card is not compatible with your motherboard. Last resort is to tell Asus to go suck on donkey balls and get a different make of board
