Windows 10: Touch screen problem in tablet mode

I’ve had a weird problem with the tablet mode. When I open certain programs, the touch keyboard disappears after typing just one letter and I have to bring it back. When I click on just one letter it goes away again. I encountered this issue in chrome and a lot of other programs. The most strange is that the issue is not specific to one device. I have an office Lenovo Ideapad Flex 14 and home Asus 2 in 1. Both devices had worked well before.

I suggest you to perform the following troubleshooting steps and check if it helps. Follow the below steps and check if it helps.

• 
  Right click on the Task bar and select ShowTouch Keyboard Button.
  
• 
  Open the Keyboard and close it (just to check if it’s working).
  
• 
  Next click on Action center and select
  Tablet Mode.
  
• 
  Once you are in Tablet mode, again Right click on the
  Task bar and select Show Touch Keyboard Button.
  
• 
  Open the Key board and check if it’s working in Tablet mode. Next check if it’s available on the task bar in both desktop and tablet mode.

I used this model 2 tablets over three years (from Windows 8 to Windows 10)

Previously, touches of desktop mode always work properly.

• Are you getting any error messages?

No, no any error messages I'm getting,

just since the sign-in screen, any touches always don't work...

I think that the problem is not related with hardware but OS.

Added descriptions:

Both my 2 tablets all have installed dual OS of Windows 10 and Android,

now touches in Android work properly,

touches of tablet mode in Windows 10 always work properly,

only touches of desktop mode in Windows 10 don't work.

So, I think that the problem is not related with hardware but the OS of Windows 10.

 

Tablet mode wont activate on touch device

Hi

As stated in line 1 of my question the device is a monitor ie touchscreen not touchpad. Who would use a touchpad for a desktop(not laptop or tablet)? when you can touch the screen or use a mouse.

And the touch functions of the screen works fine, - this is tapped on onscreen keyboard - it is Windows 10 that's schizo by accepting the input from me touching the screen but wont let me enter tablet mode.
