Windows 10: Touch screen responds on a different monitor

I have Windows 10 and have 3 screens connected to the pc. When using the system for my Flight Sim X-Plane12 I use screen1 for the moving map display, screen2 Generic touch screen for my instruments and switches and screen3 for my simulator.When I touch screen2, a mark appears on screen1. If I prolong my touch on screen2 I get a square appear on screen1.I want screen2 to respond to touches on screen2 and not for the responses to appear on screen1.I have tried all the suggested remedies but to no avail.Can you help me please?Thank you

Wake monitor on touch screen

Do please note that I am, like you, referring to turning screens back on not waking computers from sleep.
I assume your computer is a desktop.

In my case, my desktop's touchscreen is its only display.
Is the touchscreen your desktop's only display? I would not be surprised if that made a difference.
Other than that I suggest you ask the motherboard, display adapter & touchscreen makers what they think.

touch monitor not working

1. monitor:
   • Panasonic touch-screen monitor.(interactive white board)
   • connected with pc running on windows 7 proffessional.
   • upon turning on it says "touch screen detected" and "touch control transferred to local device."
2. PROBLEM :
   • Touch screen is not present under Device manager>HID.
   • Device manager > monitor shows "generic non-pnp monitor".
   • Pen-and touch settings are missing from control panel.
   • even though monitor supports the touch screen windows says "pen or touch input is not available for this display. "

 

How to set touch screen monitor without having to physically touch the screen.

Upon researching, I see that this could be done by altering the primary monitors and configuring the touch setup. I would suggest you to have a look in the Control Panel and see if you find an option.

• Open Control Panel and navigate to
  Display > Resolution.
  
• Set the touch monitor as the primary one and open
  Tablet PC settings.
  
• Choose Setup and configure your pen and touch displays.
  
• Choose Enter to skip touch to indicate which screen is your touch screen.
  
• Open Screen Resolution settings again and change the primary display.
