Windows 10: Touched my Dell Laptop touchscreen, and my computer bugged out

Recently, like 5 minutes ago, I was playing a game on a Dell Laptop my school let me borrow. While i was playing it, i decided to use the touchscreen. After about 3 minutes into playing with the touch screen, the bottom portion started to bug out as yellow lines came down from the top of my screen. I got scared and reset my computer hoping I didn't flunk anything up. I sign back in and its normal, google after google, nobody had the same problem i did. What i think happened was a Yellow Screen Of Death, but it glitched out giving a reason for the yellow lines. So i decide to post here, to see if anyone else had experienced this or even had an idea of what just happened.

Dell Monitor Touch Screen MOnitir & Windows 10

Since installing Windows 10, I cannot enable the touchscreen on my Dell S2240T monitor. The pen/touch option is not showing in hardware/sound nor can I find it under the HID list either. Any Suggestions?

There could be a number of factors as to why you are experiencing touchscreen issue. One possible cause could be an outdated driver. I would like to know more about your concern. Kindly verify the changes made on the computer prior to the issue.

Meanwhile, you have to make sure that touchscreen is enabled. To do this, follow the steps below:

• In the search box on the taskbar, type Device Manager, then select
  Device Manager.
  
• Expland Human Interface Devices and select HID-compliant
  touch screen.
  
• Select the Action tab at the top of the window. Select
  Enable.

If the issue persists, I suggest that you run the Hardware and Devices troubleshooter. To do this, refer to the steps below:

• On the Start menu, type Troubleshoot and then hit
  Enter.
  
• Under Find and fix other problems, select Hardware and Devices. Click
  Run as administrator.
