Windows 10: Touchpad click delay

I have a Asus Z13 flow 2022 running windows 11. This has been an issue since I got my laptop. If I tap the touchpad to click it takes 0.5 seconds to register as a click compared to pressing the button which registers immediately. I would like to have the touchpad tap to register as a click immediately. I have deleted the driver and restarted the laptop. It didn't do anything.

manufacturer's website.

If the issue persist after downloading the latest driver, we suggest changing the synaptic device settings by following the steps below:

• Open Mouse Properties.
• Select Device Settings tab and click on the Settings box.
• Expand the Pointing menu and then expand the Sensitivity menu.
• Select Touch Sensitivity and slide the sensitivity meter from
  2 to 1.
• Click OK.

Touchpad Delay Options Not Found

Are you having issues with touchpad delays after typing? This issue might be due to a feature of your laptop. This feature is intended to prevent users from moving the mouse by mistake while typing.

• What is the current version/build of your computer? To check, type winver on
  Cortana's search field and press Enter.
• Do you notice the same delay even when you are not playing games?
