Windows 10: Touchpad does not disable

Hi all

I'm trying to disable the touchpad on Windows 10, and i have found the option the option to. However, when i turn it off, it is still active.

Sometimes it turns off for a minute, sometimes not at all, but regardless it does not stay disabled. And if i "turn it off", and go back into the settings, it's marked as turned off and is still functional

Disable touchpad

Normally, you can disable the touchpad from Device Manager by follow the steps below:

• Go to Device Manager.
• Expand Mice and other pointing devices.
• Right-click on HID-compliant mouse and select Disable.
• Click Yes.
• Check if the touchpad is already disabled.

You can also contact the device manufacturer for further assistance if touchpad cannot be disabled.
