    touchpad gestures stop working after a while


    When windows starts they work. but after some time, maybe after hibernation, they stop working. I have to restart my laptop for them to work again. I have tried turning on and off gestures in settings. I have tried disabling and re-enabling the touch driver under human interface devices/hid-compliant touch pad.I didn't notice this behavior updating to KB5029351 OS Build 22621.2215 preview, but also before then I didn't enable hibernation I had the screen turn off only after a period of no use.I am currently running KB5030219 OS Build 22621.2283.lg gram 2022.

    touchpad gestures two finger scroll not working Asus 501

    Hi there,


    1. Go to N501VW | ASUS Global Downloads
    2. Download the latest ATK - ATKPackage driver
    3. Download the latest TouchPad - ASUS Smart Gesture (Touchpad Driver)
    4. Uninstall both the Touchpad driver and the Asus ATK package driver.
    5. Reboot
    6. First install ATKPackage driver (IMPORTANT to do this FIRST)
    7. Reboot
    8. Then install the TouchPad driver (may need to reboot)
    9. Test if all is working as it should


    I had this same issue with my Asus UX305 when I upgraded to Windows version 1803 and doing the above steps solved the issue for me.

    touchpad gestures not working

    touchpad works except for gestures.
    settings do not change.
    it did not work with 1809 either.
    The scroll function key worked ONE time which started it working.
    it stopped working when computer restarted.
    the scroll key now causes the area defined for edge scrolling to stop working altogether until I use main area, then go back to edge. repeatable.
