Windows 10: TOUCHPAD keeps disabling

I have a Toshiba S50B15F something within windows 10 keeps disabling it. If I remove the mouse driver, restart the laptop, TouchPad works for a minute or so and then stops so something is disabling it. I've ensured that the TouchPad is enabled every time. Don't know what to as its driving me nuts having to use an external mouse ALL the time. Any thoughts

Disable touchpad

Hi,

Normally, you can disable the touchpad from Device Manager by follow the steps below:

• Go to Device Manager.
• Expand Mice and other pointing devices.
• Right-click on HID-compliant mouse and select Disable.
• Click Yes.
• Check if the touchpad is already disabled.

You can also contact the device manufacturer for further assistance if touchpad cannot be disabled.
