Windows 10: Touchpad not working on DELL-Inspirion 3542

Hello,I'm running Windows 10 on my Dell laptop, Inspirion 3542, x86 i3-4030 CPUMy touchpad is not working since I updated to windows 10. Previously I was running windows 7 and the touchpad worked fine. But after upgrading my PC to Windows 10 using the windows update tool, now my touchpad is inaccessible.In device manager, there is no device listed in "Mice and other pointing devices", same with "Human Interface Devices"In mouse properties, no device is listed in the hardware tab.I've tried downloading the specific driver from the DELL support website, but when I try to install the driver, it s

Dell Inspirion 3542 DVD writer and camera is not working.

I have Dell Inspirion 3542. My laptop have HL-DT-ST DVD+-RW GU90N (DVD writer part number 9M9FK) and Camera (part number VFVY9) is not working. Several time I Uninstall/ delete and install it but its not working. In My computer DVD writer is showing the
icon, if i double click on the icon, its ejects the tray and if I insert a DVD/CD, it will not read or any reaction.

In device manager its is not showing IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers, only showing chipset family SATA ACHI controllers.

Genuine Windows 10 (Pro) 64 bit is installed and I two times format the system but result is same.

Can anybody suggest / guide me proper solution for this Or provide me the drivers link?

Inspiron 3542 is Windows 10 compatible. It should not cause any problem after the upgradation.

I would suggest you to get the drivers before the upgradation. Get the LAN, WiFi, video and touchpad drivers, save them externally and go for the upgrade.
After the upgradation is complete, apply the drivers.
